Archaeological landscapes in Portugal. New opportunities and projects

Este workshop é o primeiro passo na recente relação científica estabelecida entre a NOVA FCSH e o Instituto KNIR-Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome. Neste sentido, as palestras apresentadas centrar-se-ão na apresentação de diferentes estudos de caso ligados à análise da paisagem arqueológica de diferentes cidades e regiões da antiga Lusitânia Romana. Estas palestras permitir-nos-ão explorar e abrir novas linhas de investigação e colaboração científica entre instituições. Esperamos, portanto, que este trabalho se concretize a partir do próximo ano com projetos conjuntos e o intercâmbio de estudantes e investigadores.

This workshop is the first step in the recent scientific relationship established between NOVA FCSH and the KNIR-Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome. In this sense, the lectures will focus on the presentation of different case studies linked to the analysis of the archaeological landscape of different cities and regions of ancient Roman Lusitania. These lectures will allow us to explore and open new lines of research and scientific collaboration between institutions. We therefore hope that this work will materialize from next year onwards with joint projects and the exchange of students and researchers.
