NOVA FCSH members are entitled to an account, the FCSH ID, which consists of a username (or login) and a password that grants them access to the institution’s platforms and services.

• Inforestudante – academic management platform for students;
• Infordocente – academic management platform for faculty members;
• Institutional Email – (@fcsh.unl.pt for permanent staff and services; @campus.fcsh.unl.pt for other accounts) – the email service operates using Google technology under Google Workspace for Education; communication at NOVA FCSH is conducted exclusively through this address;
• Intranet – Internal information of NOVA FCSH.
• Moodle – e-learning platform used by NOVA FCSH, complementary to Inforestudante.
• NOVA FCSH App – mobile app providing access to most Faculty services;
• Wireless Eduroam – for internet access at the campus, in students’ residences and other universities;
• Microsoft 365 – for using Microsoft applications such as Office 365;
• Libraries – for new user registration and access to the personal area of the library catalog;
• Scientific articles – for downloading scientific papers and e-books from databases subscribed to by NOVA, even from home;
• Copy / printing / scanning – for using the Ricoh multifunctional devices on campus;

• Platforms provided centrally by Universidade NOVA:

  – SINGAP – NOVA University’s ERP system
  – PURE – research information management system;

• VPN – NOVA FCSH private network that allows remote access to campus resources.

How to Obtain

For staff members, both academic and non-academic, the username and password for the FCSH ID account are provided directly by the Division of Information Technology and Digital Transformation.

For students, the username and password are automatically generated upon registration in Inforestudante.

For students, the username consists of an ‘a’ followed by the student number.

Changing the Password

Students can change their password on the Inforestudante login page, using the “Forgot your password?” link.

Staff members (faculty, administrative staff, and researchers) can change their password at https://id.fcsh.unl.pt

In case of loss, a new password can be requested by emailing helpdesk@fcsh.unl.pt. It will be sent either to a recovery email address or provided upon proof of identity.

Username in each platform 

There are slight differences in the username that should be inserted in each service’s platform. In some applications, the username must include the domain “@fcsh.unl.pt” or “@campus.fcsh.unl.pt”. In others, it is not accompanied by the domain:
