Helpdesk service – it support

NOVA FCSH’s Helpdesk Unit provides technical support for the computer equipment of all campus’ workstations. Support requests should be submitted by email, to helpdesk@fcsh.unl.pt. The requests are then followed by a task management application, based on a set of priority criteria.

Scope of computer support

 

Hardware and software setup and Internet services

Encompasses the setup or reinstallation of licensed software featured by NOVA FCSH or “freeware“, internet connection and other internet services.

Troubleshooting

It comprises hardware and installed software troubleshoots as well as connectivity issues  and other problems regarding access to the internet.

Inquiries regarding service and app setup

Helpdesk techinicians provide support to questions regarding email, eduroam, proxy configuration and school’s apps.
