Course description
The Online Summer Course in Portuguese Language and Culture is organised by Camões – Institute for Cooperation and Language, I.P., in partnership with a consortium of six Portuguese universities (University of Aveiro, University of Coimbra, University of Lisbon, University of Minho, NOVA University Lisbon, and University of Porto). This course offers all six proficiency levels defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, from A1 to C2. NOVA is responsible for delivering the A2 level.

60h (30h of asynchronous learning + 30h of synchronous classes) + cultural modules
Synchronous classes: Monday to Friday, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm (Lisbon time).
How the course works
Everyday students participate in two types of learning activities: synchronous (1h30 per day) and asynchronous. During synchronous sessions, students join their tutor and classmates via videoconferencing. During asynchronous sessions, students work independently or in groups. Contents and materials were designed for online teaching and learning.

Tuition fee
325 euros + 10€ (school insurance). (In the application form, you can apply for a scholarship from Instituto Camões, which covers the tuition fee).
