Alberto Medina de Seiça is a Research Fellow of CESEM–Centre for the Study of the Sociology and Aesthetics of Music at Lisbon Nova University and a member of the executive team for the project “Thematic History of Music in Portugal and Brazil”. He is Editor of the Portuguese Early Music Database and a member of the Scientific Committee for the Catalogue of the Musical Archive of the House of Braganza’s Museum-Library. He holds a PhD in Musicology from Lisbon Nova University (2019) with a dissertation on late plainchant (supervisor: Manuel Pedro Ferreira)
