Applications are now open for the semester courses in Portuguese Language and Culture

Until the 7th of September, applications are open for NOVA FCSH’s Portuguese language and culture courses for non-native adult speakers seeking in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese language and culture.

The courses run for one semester and are organised according to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Council of Europe, 2001, 2020), covering levels A1 to B2. For each level, three modules on the Portuguese language and one module on Portuguese culture are offered. These modules can be taken independently or combined to form a complete course corresponding to a specific level of proficiency.

Levels taught in the 1st semester: A1 and B1 

Classes: September 14th to December 18th, 2026

Application period:  July 27th to September 7th, 2026

Schedules: day and evening classes available
