Undergraduate

Why should we be your first choice?

The FCSH / NOVA has a wide range of courses, bringing together the areas of Social Sciences, Languages and Humanities.

All courses have a duration of 3 academic years (six semesters), which together add up to a total of 180 credits. Of these, 30 can be done through elective courses or doing a minor in a different scientific field of the chosen course. This will give you a unique interdisciplinarity within the national university panorama and a wealth of knowledge that will make a difference in your future.

You can even make your degree an experience in mobility, taking advantage of the 200 exchange protocols we have, for a semester or an academic year. And if you want to try a career in research, it is also possible to get started early and support our research units, considered the best at a national level by the CWTS Leiden Ranking.

During a course you can also participate in internships and volunteer work that counts as an elective course, paving a way towards professional success immediately.
