  • Teacher at the FCSH-UNL since 1985, researcher at CETAPS (project "Mapping Dreams: British and North-American Utopianism") and collaborator at CEAUL (project "The British Empire: Ideologies, Perspectives and Perceptions").
  • Coordinator of the Masters in Translation (2009-11), of the English and North-American Section, Dept. of Modern Languages, Cultures and Literatures (2007-08) and of the Erasmus Programme (2000-07).
  • Member of the Editorial Board of The Eighth Lamp: Ruskin Studies Today (2011-today).
