The Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa organizes courses of Portuguese Language and Culture for foreigners (1st and 2nd semesters), for students who wish to learn or to improve their knowledge of portuguese.

Schedule of the Course
Each level has the duration of 64 hours (60 lecture hours and 4 hours of cultural activities), with two hour lessons, 2 times a week. 

Evaluation and Certification of the Courses
At the end of each semester a certificate is emitted, mentioning the characterization of the level and the final classification or a frequency certificate. 

Levels and Classes  
The placement of the students in the different levels has in account two criteria: 
•  the evaluation of the information given by the students in the Registration Form; 
•  the accomplishment of a diagnostic test in the 1 st session.

The registration is made in the course office.
